Your privacy, with transparency.
This Privacy Policy describes how Pasly collects, uses, and shares information related to the use of our website and app. If you have questions, please use the contact page.
Information we collect
- Account information from Sign in with Apple, including your name, email address, and Pasly account identifier.
- Device and service information, including an app-generated device ID, device name, app and OS versions, and last-seen or Cloud sync timestamps.
- Cloud sync status and timestamps needed to connect supported devices. Clipboard items synced with Pasly Cloud are stored in your private CloudKit database, not on Pasly servers.
- Purchase and entitlement information, such as product, transaction status, license, and Pro access. We do not receive your payment card or bank details.
- Support messages and website usage information, such as page visits and download or purchase-button events.
How we use information
- Authenticate your account and connect approved devices.
- Provide encrypted Cloud sync and restore paid access.
- Respond to support, questions, or requests.
- Prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the service secure and reliable.
- Understand website performance and product interest.
Encryption and local data
Local clipboard history is encrypted on your device. When you enable Pasly Cloud, synced content is stored in the private CloudKit database connected to your iCloud account. History stored only on your device remains under your control.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app tracking. We share only the information needed with service providers that operate Pasly: Apple for sign-in and App Store purchases, RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management, Paddle for direct and web purchases, email providers for transactional or support messages, and Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for website measurement. We may also disclose information when required by law. These providers process data under their own privacy terms and applicable contractual protections.
Data retention
Account profile, device records, deletion events, and related server records are removed when you delete your account. We retain the minimum identity and commercial ledger needed to restore purchases, honor Pro access, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations. This includes your Pasly user ID, the Sign in with Apple identifier without its email address, license and purchase records. Completed transaction records may be retained where required by law. CloudKit content remains under your iCloud account and can be managed through Pasly and iCloud. Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here.
Your controls and account deletion
You can delete your account inside the Pasly app from Account, Legal & Account, Delete Account. This deletes your server-side account data and signs out connected devices. Encrypted local history remains on your device until you delete it. Deleting a Pasly account does not remove a purchase from your App Store history. Apple purchases can be restored separately. You may also contact us with a privacy or deletion request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. When we do, we will post the latest version on this page.
